In this role, you’ll partner with the Engineering and Product senior leaders to drive strategy discussions, planning, execution, and drive multiple large size strategic initiatives. You will be part of the larger R&D Operations Organization within Engineering operations. This group is responsible for supporting our product and engineering teams, agile coaching & process governance, driving strategic engineering initiatives, and associated interlocks the Product & Engineering organization needs to be successful. This is a fully remote opportunity but is strongly preferred to be worked from the Pacific time zone.Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Engineering and Product senior leaders for all critical decisions and key initiatives, customer commits within the Data Platform product area.
- Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the platform product area.
- Deep expertise in Agile Methodologies and scaling frameworks (SAFe) at both the team level and teams of teams level.
- Skilled in coaching individuals and teams in a wide range of Agile principles and practices.
- Lead the portfolio of work for the Data Platform teams, including impediments, major risks, and dependencies, to drive planning and execution quarter over quarter.
- Understands what a modern data platform architecture looks like and the patterns of being a shared service.
- Work together with the senior leadership team to define metrics for measuring success in planning, execution, and engineering productivity and effectiveness.
- Can roll up sleeves and dig in with teams and individuals to help coach on our processes and behaviors. Has the ability to coach processes and best practices in Engineering and Product Management organizations.
- A catalyst in the Engineering Operations Organization propelling us to continually improve and expand our operational capabilities.
- Tech Savvy – Ability to identify potential risks and assist engineering leaders to develop mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in the same or similar role working within an R&D Operations Organization supporting a high-growth SaaS product
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presence
- Force for change who is open to new insights accepts challenges and leads with positive energy
- Trusted professional with the ability to lead strong personalities and drive open items to effective resolution
- Expert in driving multiple large size and complex cross-functional programs from idea to completion
- Expert in Jira with an understanding of engineering management platforms
- Expert in developing scaling strategies and roadmap aligned with Clari’s goals
- Technical aptitude – understand the high-level architecture of what is getting built to be able to be successful in driving execution
- Exceptional influencing skills to motivate cross-functional teams and PDE partners

The goal of Clari’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay and grow at Clari.Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $225,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
