Xometry, a fast-growing technology company reshaping manufacturing in America, is looking for a content writer to join our team. We’re looking for a candidate who creates great email, case study, blog, case study, and other content for Xometry to grow our awareness and engagement among key target audiences as we continue our growth.
The ideal candidate would be located in the Washington, D.C. area, but we are open to remote candidates.
What will you be doing day to day:
- Draft weekly external marketing communications aimed at informing and engaging customers including emails, case studies, blog posts, video scripts, infographic copy, quizzes, direct mail, and more.
- Provide editorial and design direction for content projects, including project managing and collaborating with designers, video producers, engineers, product managers, and contracted writers
- QA all marketing content from internal and external content stakeholders including case studies, website copy, internal blogs, etc. for plain language principles and style guide adherence
- Communicate marketing projects and strategy to rest of company, including marketing strategies via internal company blog (BlogIn, Asana)
- Assist with graphical asset management and sourcing via Adobe Stock, Envato, and in collaboration with Brand Director, Designers, and wider communications team
You are someone who has:
- 2+ years of experience in writing emails, case studies and or other marketing content
- Excellent relationship building skills and an ability to communicate well our marketing team and the Xometry team more broadly
- Experience working at or with a high-growth company is preferred, though not required
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Self-directed orientation with the ability to take initiative
- Superior project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Conveys information with clarity and directness
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience is preferred, though not required#LI-Remote
