HR Manager (100% Remote)
The HR Manager at Bitfinex will oversee all aspects of the human resources function, from recruitment and onboarding to Personnel relations and compliance. This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR leader who can implement effective people processes and develop programs that align with Bitfinex’s commitment to innovation, transparency, and team well-being.
Role Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, with the goal of attracting top talented personnel in blockchain, financial technology, and related fields to the role required.
- Partner with department heads to anticipate hiring and company needs.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies that have a focus on hiring the most talented people for the role requirements across the organization.
- Construct contracts for personnel when offered positions within the organization. Paying attention to detail for the contract information and occasionally liaising with our legal team and operations team.
2. Personnel Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for personnel, handling concerns and resolving issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Drive personnel engagement initiatives, including regular check-ins, feedback mechanisms, and team-building activities.
- Conduct Personnel satisfaction surveys and develop actionable plans based on feedback to improve workplace culture.
3. Performance Management & Development
- Lead the performance management process, ensuring regular reviews, goal alignment, and constructive feedback for professional growth.
– Construct and provide guidance for team management in handling HR related matters. Including how to conduct performance reviews, Guidance on personnel performance actions such as written warning, Calls for improvement actions and personnel termination calls.
4. Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices, meet regulatory requirements, and align with Bitfinex’s values.
– Maintain accurate personnel records and uphold confidentiality in all HR processes.
5. HR Metrics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, hiring speed, and engagement scores, to inform leadership decisions.
– Prepare and present regular HR updates to senior management, focusing on areas for improvement and HR’s impact on the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably in fintech, tech, blockchain and remote working environments.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, with an ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the digital asset industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HR software and standard business applications (Google suite).
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional, remote environment with a globally distributed team.
