Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Product & Engineering Finance team and help drive our financial strategy and performance. The role will work within the NA Finance team to support reporting and analysis related to the long-term financial planning of Omnicell’s products and services. There will be an enhanced focused on developing multi-year outlooks and understanding the key financial drivers of a product or service at various stages of its lifecycle. This role will report to the Manager, P&E Finance and have the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Serve as a finance partner with product management to support the development of long-term financial outlooks of Omnicell’s products and services
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product profitability models, including detailed variance analysis and margin reporting
- Interface with various areas of the organization to understand key drivers and provide financial analysis / decision support
- Utilize large data sets and visual analytics to identify and report emerging trends and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders
- Establish financial models for business case analysis in support of the prioritization of future portfolio investments (R&D)
- Develop assumption-based frameworks in support of multi-scenario modeling complete with sensitivity analyses to inform strategic decision making and risk management
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Engage in ad-hoc analysis / special projects as needed
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Organized thinker with a strong process background and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities both independently and as part of the NA Finance team
- Possess high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
- Strong work ethic, patience, and customer service orientation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in finance or accounting field
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- “Business Unit” finance / FP&A experience
- Experience working in a technology or product-driven organization is highly desirable
- Working with large data sets / variables in finance-based systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle Hyperion)
- Experience driving decision support through visual analytics (i.e., Tableau)
- Experience in healthcare or health information services
- Experience working with subscription software, technology-enabled services, or SaaS revenue streams
- Experience partnering with product management to understand market segment dynamics
Work Conditions
- This position is 100% remote enabled from any US location
- This position requires minimal US based travel (<5%)
