Location: Remote

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 base plus commission

About the Opportunity

We’re growing our sales team with rockstar AEs to help us take the business to the next level and lay the foundation of our Sales Organization. An AE will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities, building relationships across the industry, and managing the entire sales cycle from initial outreach, to demo and close.

  • You’re incredibly smart, curious, driven to learn, and you HUSTLE. This is a fast paced environment at a rapidly growing company. We value hard work, self starters, and the ability to learn as you go.
  • You’re an adaptable team player, but able to prioritize and focus. As one of the first Account Executives, you’ll have to think on your feet to manage changing organizational priorities in a startup environment, while never losing sight of the activities that help you close business.
  • You’re passionate about leading retail strategy and technology, networking and building relationships with brands and key industry players. We’re building technology that is disrupting a heavily spreadsheet driven process, so you need the ability to drive awareness and education with multiple stakeholders.
  • You aren’t afraid of rejection and you’re willing to put in the hard work required to prospect new leads and find opportunities. This is not an easy job, and the most successful account executives are those who work to better themselves every day.
  • You’re excited about the opportunity to learn across multiple functions, drive real change within the business and evolve into a leader at a high-growth SaaS startup.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience in a Mid-Market role, with a record of top performance.

  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to demo, sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels.

  • Experience in selling vertical software to a range of buyer personas

  • Deep understanding of the retail technology landscape and strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead growth and adoption of Toolio within the retail industry. 
  • Find new leads and prospect into key target accounts to uncover new opportunities.
  • Understand the client’s challenges and needs and become an expert to how Toolio can implement best practices to their organization to save them time, reduce errors, and enable them to make faster, data driven decisions.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts.
  • Support in creating sales material including client proposals, marketing documents, case studies, and enablement material.

Toolio is a distributed team with headquarters in NYC and offices in Turkey backed by top VCs and apparel industry executives. Toolio was founded in 2019 by Eytan Daniyalzade and Berk Atikoglu, serial entrepreneurs who have worked together for more than 10 years. Their previous company, Stylr, was acquired by Walmart Labs in 2014. At Walmart, they lead teams that delivered various groundbreaking products like Sam’s Club Scan & Go and Walmart Pay which reach millions of users and process billions of dollars each year. While at Walmart they got to see that the tools used by planners and merchants were years behind the technology they had built for consumers. So they set out on a mission to change this by building a modern merchandising platform, Toolio.
