Job Summary

INARI Account Managers are responsible for the introduction, hospital-wide therapy establishment, admin, sales and clinical support of INARI technologies including FlowTrieverTM and ClotTrieverTM for the mechanical thrombectomy treatments of Pulmonary Embolism (PE) and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). VTE is INARI’s focus and the company is committed to ensure patients gain access to optimal treatments for PE and DVT.

Account Managers will build and manage relations with different professions in a hospital: physicians, both the users (the interventionalist) and the referring physicians, care personnel, admin staff and the management, inform them about our products and therapies and convince health care professionals to use them as their standard of care while as well being able to inform about the economic impact and reimbursement of the therapies. They support physicians and nurses in using our products in cath labs and ORs and are a reliable source for clinical and technical questions. They also negotiate with hospital administrators and procurement managers to find economical solutions.

INARI professionals are team-players and enthusiastic to support their colleagues in pursuit of improved patient outcomes. The position requires extensive travel throughout their area and, periodically, to congresses or trainings.

The position is not about only selling devices but establishing a new therapy and the required path ways. The Account Manager must convince and inspire the stakeholders in the hospital and help create and grow the patient flows coming from internal referral, therapy and market development activities in and outside of the hospital.

The position will be home based and will report into the Regional Sales Manager of the respective region or the Country Manager.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of INARI technologies, competitor offerings and become an expert in the VTE space.

  • Consult physicians and other hospital personnel for the use of our products.

  • Facilitate and organise training for all hospital stakeholders (clinicians and nursing staff) to ensure safe and effective use of INARI products.

  • Ensure that the end-to-end experience of utilising INARI products engenders the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage the scenario where a high number of cases in your area are proctored and the support of INARI customers is ‘best in class’.

  • Give ceaseless attention to patient flow strategies with customers to enable more patients to receive ClotTrieverTM and FlowTrieverTM therapy. Execute the business plans to maximise the footprint of INARI technologies.

  • Provide regular reports and keep impeccable records within an agreed framework.

  • Have and further develop active listening and meaningful presentations skills and deliver to all key stakeholders routinely.

  • Continually strive to build the reputation of INARI and be a permanent and consistent ambassador and therapy evangelist for the company.

  • Hold a reputation of offering exemplary customer service at all times.

  • Follow a flawless ethical conduct and report of adverse events in line with INARI official protocols.

Role Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.

  • Demonstrate effective educational and presentation skills in diverse settings from one-on-one to formal large group situations.

  • Proactively support in the hospital to take the necessary steps required to establish the therapy as well as provide the required data and chain of arguments.

  • Solid understanding of medical terms, physiology, and hospital structures and hospital practices (experience as a medical device professional).

  • Reasonable command of the English language (able to understand training content and read).

  • A ‘Black-Belt’ Team-player demonstrating a solution-based philosophy.

Education Requirements

  • BS degree preferred in related field or 6 years demonstrated successful sales experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years related medical device experience

  • Education in a clinical or scientific specialty

  • Maintain all Certifications and Vendor Credentials

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of computer usage.

  • Extended periods of sitting or standing.

  • Moderate lifting.

  • Able to travel extensively including overnight to client facilities by auto or aircraft 70-80% of the time.
