We are currently seeking a skilled Ad Monetization Manager to drive revenue growth across our portfolio of games. This role will focus on optimizing ad monetization strategies, managing relationships with key ad partners, and maximizing user LTV through effective ad placements and waterfall optimizations. The ideal candidate has experience in mobile gaming ad monetization, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for driving revenue while maintaining a high-quality player experience.

This position reports to the Director of Growth and works cross-functionally with product, marketing, analytics, and creative teams to execute effective ad monetization strategies

Responsibilities:

•  Oversee and optimize ad monetization strategies across our portfolio of games to maximize revenue and user LTV.
•  Develop and execute ad monetization strategy alongside our teams; including integrated ad spots within the games, ad waterfall, and network bonuses.
•  Develop long-term partnership strategies with 3rd party partners  to maximize ad revenue and incremental user LTV.
•  Analyze ad performance data to refine strategies related to impressions, inventory, targeting, and fill rates.
•  Work closely with product and community teams to monitor ad quality and player sentiment to ensure a non-intrusive, engaging ad experience.
•  Collaborate with the data science team to refine ad revenue forecasting and reporting models.
•  Maintain and expand relationships with 3rd party partners, negotiating favorable terms and bonuses.

Requirements: 

•  3 – 5+ years of experience in ad monetization within mobile gaming.
• Strong understanding of ad mediation, waterfall management, and in-game ad placements.
•  Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling gaming ad businesses for mobile games
•  Experience with A/B testing methodologies and ad monetization strategies.
•  Proficiency in data analysis and interpreting complex datasets to drive decision-making.
•  Excellent understanding of key mobile gaming metrics (eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, LTV, retention, etc.).
•  Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
•  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.

Pay Ranges by Tier: 

Tier 1:  $96,000 – $132,000
