About the Role: The Aircraft Management Sales Manager will identify, engage, and secure new aircraft management clients. This highly proactive, outbound sales role involves calling, texting, emailing, and visiting aircraft owners, flight departments, and operators to bring aircraft under SkyShare’s management program.

You will target aircraft based in the Western 11 states to grow our charter-friendly managed fleet with aircraft that complement our existing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience, industry knowledge, and a proven ability to develop relationships with aircraft owners, operators, and aviation professionals.

The Mission for this Position: As an Aircraft Management Sales Manager at SkyShare, you will use your extensive sales skills and industry knowledge to drive growth by securing new managed aircraft accounts. You will be a key player in expanding our charter-friendly managed fleet, targeting aircraft that align with our current operations. This role is 100% focused on hunting for new managed aircraft accounts, primarily focusing on securing Part 135 charter aircraft.

Right Person, Right Seat: As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Management Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is competitive by nature and a sales-driven hunter with a background in business aviation, charter, aircraft management, or aircraft sales. Qualifications:

  • Sales-Driven Hunter Mentality: You thrive on finding and closing deals.
  • Aviation Industry Experience: Background in business aviation, charter, aircraft management, or aircraft sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong Communication & Relationship Skills: Ability to connect with aircraft owners and flight departments, build trust, and negotiate agreements.
  • Self-motivated & Proactive: This role does not involve waiting for leads. Instead, it involves creating opportunities through direct outreach. Therefore, you must be determined and persistent.
  • Results-Oriented: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in aviation or a related industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & Generate Leads: Identify and actively pursue aircraft owners, flight departments, and operators who are potential candidates for SkyShare’s aircraft management services.
  • Outbound Sales Efforts: This role is heavily focused on direct outreach, including calling, texting, emailing, and in-person visits, to secure new managed aircraft accounts.
  • Close New Management Agreements: Present SkyShare’s management program, structure deals, and negotiate terms to onboard new clients.
  • Target Aircraft Types:
    • Primary initial Focus: Gulfstream G450/G550 and Citation Excel/XLS
    • Other Aircraft Considered: Citation CJ2-CJ4, G200, Challenger 300, Phenom 300, PC-12, PC-24
  • Strategic Market Focus: Concentrate efforts on aircraft based in the Western 11 states that align with our current fleet.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with aircraft owners and key decision-makers to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, charter sales, and executive leadership to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $60,000-80,000 base salary + commission (depending on experience)

Location:

  • This position is preferably based in our Salt Lake City, UT office; however, we will consider a remote-based position for the right candidate.
