Assistant Manager, HR Local Representative – ANZ (6-months contract)

As an Assistant Manager, HR Local Representative at GoGlobal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth onboarding processes, addressing client and employee concerns, and staying updated on HR trends and regulatory changes in the AUS/NZ region. This is a dynamic 6-month contract position where your strong HR knowledge, communication skills, and proactive attitude will be essential.

Responsibilities

Serve as the local representative for GoGlobal in Australia and New Zealand.

Meet and greet local employees, overseeing their onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience.

Act as an escalation point for client and client employees’ issues, ensuring quick resolution.

Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and regulatory changes in AUS/NZ, communicating relevant information to the teams.

Provide on-the-ground administrative support, including office space sourcing, medical insurance applications, bank account opening, and procurement of office equipment.

Support the onboarding of clients and their employees, preparing employment contracts, dispatch agreements, etc.

Maintain the onboarding tool, including online forms and related templates.

Gather and track necessary information from clients’ employees, ensuring proper storage in a designated location.

Ensure overall compliance and quality of HR templates in all GoGlobal jurisdictions in Asia.

Coordinate and project manage requests such as background checks, medical insurance arrangements, staff benefit plans, visa applications, relocations, and health check arrangements.

Build a comprehensive HR knowledge database, providing overviews of company/individual benefits plans, visa processes, background check requirements across all GoGlobal jurisdictions.

Set up the local onboarding process for AUS/NZ employees, including the creation and maintenance of HR at a Glance. Act as the local representative handling the onboarding process and providing expert local advice when required.

Manage other ad-hoc projects as requested.

Requirements

Strong HR knowledge for both Australia and New Zealand with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.

Ability to work independently and proactively with a positive attitude.

Note: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
