Who You Are:
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role and contribute to the framework, tools, and systems that drive Oracle Support automation across development, support, and product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring our services and systems are automated with reliability, scalability, and observability as critical features.

What you will do:
- Contribute to the design of the overall proactive program focused on both knowledge and automation
- Write, and deploy scripts, tooling, and other automation to improve the organization’s efficiency in delivering support for Oracle products and services.
- Develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for tooling automation.
- Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services and operations.
- Expand and challenge the way we provide service by going beyond our customers’ expectations through the strategy design and definition of our internal automation framework with a focus on enabling the organization to deliver an amazing customer experience.
- Investigate, prioritize, and devise solutions for proactive monitoring use cases in a wide scope, ranging from sophisticated platform interactions to functional checks.
- Drive Operational Excellence through development, communication, and training aimed at optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of overall automation
- Drive automation innovation by identifying areas where new technologies can be utilized
- Be able to lead implementation, setup, and configuration for new automation projects
- Enable the organization through the implementation of end-to-end automation operations
What you’ve done:
- 5+ years of Java, Python, SQL,
- 5+ years of experience in automation, designing, developing, and supporting solutions
- 1+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- 1+ years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Databases
- 2+ years of experience with Linux.
It would be awesome if you also had:
- Competency in process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Process Excellence or equivalent
- Experience in systems security & DevSecOps
- Experience in product analytics or telemetry preferably in a SaaS environment
- Experience using machine learning or AI to drive proactive capabilities in a support or customer success organization
