Bilingual (Spanish) Middle School Math Tutor – Online

As a Tutor with Braintrust Tutors, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality reading and math interventions. Your role will involve working with students individually or in small groups (1:4) during school hours. You will receive extensive onboarding and materials to effectively implement our intervention programs, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.

How Tutoring Works:

We partner with schools for 12-week tutoring engagements. Tutors meet with students 1:1 or in groups 1:4 three to five times a week for 45 minutes.

This engagement will be for Middle School Math and tutor will need to be available during school hours and be fluent in Spanish. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in math to middle school students in Spanish
• Implement our intervention programs according to the provided guidelines.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress using our reporting platform.
• Communicate regularly with our Operations team and school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Two years of teaching/tutoring experience with teaching middle school math
• Fluent in Spanish
• Active or Expired Teaching License.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Reliable and punctual.
