We’re looking for a passionate Business Analyst to join our dynamic Platforms & Technology team and propel our new “Power Up” Hotel Growth Initiative. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our hotel offerings and hotel revenue growth by tapping into your expertise in business analysis and software testing.

Our collaborative, fast-paced Agile team flourishes with open communication with multi-functional stakeholders and innovative industry-leading technology solutions. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with product owners, business experts, developers and the entire team throughout the development cycle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create, maintain, and review business process models, data flows, business requirements, and use cases to become an expert on the travel industry’s inner workings.
  • Compile, research, analyse, and document requirements, workflows, processes, and functionalities.
  • Generate clear, concise documentation to support innovative solutions.
  • Maintain the JIRA board by ensuring work items are meticulously documented and tracked.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, including workflow and impacts.
  • Design, develop, and enhance automated and manual test scripts to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Be an active and collaborative team member, always willing to give ideas and solutions.
  • Detect and triage software defects and inconsistencies, managing them to resolution.
  • Conduct smoke tests on releases to ensure top-notch quality reaches the production environment.
  • Be prepared for exciting daily and ad-hoc tasks that will keep your skills sharp and your days dynamic!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Business Analysis Expertise: 3+ years of experience in business analysis, specifically within the business travel industry.
  • Testing Proficiency: Experience with both automated and manual testing techniques in an Agile development environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the business travel industry, particularly the hotel sector and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Understanding: A solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and partner management skills to effectively articulate desired outcomes and responsibilities.
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and well-organized test documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) for data analysis and presentation creation.
  • Time Management and Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • English Fluency: Fluency in written and spoken English for effective communication.
