Business Consultant


Autodesk is a leading global technology company that creates software products and services for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, automotive, media and entertainment industries.

We are seeking an accomplished Business Consultant, ideally a native dutch-speaker, to join our Northern Europe Consulting team (AEC), as part of our Enterprise Programme working with Autodesk’s largest customers..

The role is fully remote, based in the Netherlands.

You will report to the Manager, Northern Europe Consulting (AEC) as an individual contributor

As a Business Consultant, you will be a strong strategic thinker with broad knowledge across an industry/sub-industry domain and its predominant technologies. Your expert facilitation skills and sharp business acumen will guide customers as they shape their vision in the context of industry trends, emerging technologies, and their desired business goals.

You will work with our customers’ senior leadership to develop their digital strategies, define criteria for success, assess current process and project performance, create business value justification for initiatives, and prepare to implement solutions that produce meaningful business results.

You are competent in business strategy, technology solution definition and implementation, understand change management approaches and able to create and maintain high value client relationships based on your ability to solve their business challenges.


  • Collaborate with the customer at the executive and senior business leader level to understand their business vision, objectives and challenges.
  • Advise customers on strategic transformation and innovation initiatives
  • Analyse customer needs and industry trends to recommend and develop digital solutions to achieve customer outcomes
  • Help prepare, review, and manage high quality deliverable documents including proposals, business assessments and recommendations, business process analysis and workflow documentation
  • Use Change Management principles and tools to define and implement enterprise adoption strategies for Autodesk solutions
  • Use solution selling techniques to position and articulate the value proposition of our solutions
  • Lead digital transformation programs, applying Autodesk technologies to drive efficiency and growth
  • Be a trusted advisor, building professional relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Demonstrate competence in business strategy and planning, communications, and leading boldly for results

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Dutch and English languages, excellent written and oral skills
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in relevant industries or asset manager ecosystem
  • 5 years of experience working on business improvement initiatives that require the implementation of digital solutions
  • Excellent onsite and remote facilitation skills
  • Travel up to 50% to Autodesk events and customer meetings
