The Opportunity: This opportunity is for a solution selling, business development professional that has a solid level of fluency in human resources, DEIB, and leadership development. Working as part of an inclusive and collaborative team, in a growing practice, the ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands how to originate new relationships, build and grow existing relationships, as well as convert marketing leads to new engagements. Our work centers on all things people with solutions that impact each phase of the employee experience.


Individuals who succeed in this role are curious about our client’s business/people issues and are eager to identify solutions that will support their business strategy. They have an engaging communication style with a strong ability to both write and present. They are able to identify core client issues in order to scope and develop effective impact plans that incorporate our offerings.


The Role: This role is expected to sell the full portfolio of Human Capital solutions and commit to our expectations on client satisfaction. This will require both inbound and outbound sales efforts. The successful candidate is experienced in using sales technology, systems and processes to effectively manage and track sales activity and meet the goals of the firm. In addition, they are nurturers who can grow and expand existing relationships and proactively find new ones through cold calling and prospecting efforts.


The Location: This position will be based in our Philadelphia office at 325 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. The role and the entire Exude HC team is currently fully remote. Any changes to this will be shared with advance notice. Preference is for individuals located along the I-95 corridor in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. The role will require occasional travel (less than 20%).


Key Functions:

· Identifies prospects and effectively uses tools and techniques to contact and qualify prospects

· Conducts prospect meetings to scope and develop solutions that map to our offerings

· Listens to key stakeholders to understand the full range of business challenges and opportunities

· Scopes, drafts and presents well written proposals in a timely manner that clearly identify processes, deliverables and desired outcomes for the client

· Presents Exude’s value proposition in a way that differentiates our work in a meaningful way

· Maintains a healthy pipeline of opportunities; creates demand for multi-product/cross-sell solutions

· Appropriately involves Exude teammates to drive interest, sales, satisfaction, and retention

· Maintains accurate data in CRM (Salesforce) as part of staying organized and on track

· Keeps current on prospects’ business issues and researches new information on prospects

· Provides regular and accurate forecasts and closes new business within targeted timeframes

· Seamlessly transitions new accounts to the client implementation team

· Maintains account ownership for all business sold; analyzes and creates strategic account plans

· Stays abreast of industry and marketplace trends

· Participates in relevant industry associations, organizations, boards, and charities, as appropriate

· Leverages marketing and social media to promote Exude brand and solutions

· Creates quarterly plans tied to achievement of sales activity and sales goals

· Provides feedback on sales, product, and delivery design for potential future upgrades

· Understands, commits to, and complies with Exude’s Mission and Core Values



Required/Preferred Experience:

· 2-5 years of successful consultative B2B sales experience in professional services industry

· Strong ability to scope work in hours and provide custom solutions to clients

· Familiarity with human resources, DEIB, and leadership development work

· Proven sales aptitude with a track record of quota achievement

· Exhibits skill to present to, influence, win, and retain business with decision-makers

· Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce

· Demonstrates skills in communication, developing relationships, and coordinating with others

· Demonstrates business acumen and understands how business strategy shapes talent strategy

· Displays initiative, an ability to work well under pressure, prioritization skills
