Essential Functions
- Consult with leaders across Lumos to understand operations and provide data-driven financial insights to support decision-making.
- Establish and report accurate financial measures, ensuring alignment with agreed-upon metrics.
- Focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, presenting findings in a clear and actionable format.
- Educate non-financial decision-makers on data interpretation and the financial impact of operational choices.
- Provide monthly operational analysis, long-term modeling, and forecasting data to inform business performance evaluations and strategic planning.
- Generate custom reports and analysis to support FP&A, M&A, and operational goals.
- Support FP&A and M&A reporting with modeling related to construction progress, sales, and pricing initiatives.
- Manage the annual budget process, including data collection, input consolidation, and ensuring proper approvals.
- Create and collaborate on budget reports with budget owners.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders, providing education and building understanding.
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (preferably NetSuite, Jira, Excel, PowerBI, or similar).
- Analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
- Collaborative team player with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled at pulling and analyzing data from multiple sources and presenting it effectively.
- Experience creating and implementing complex financial models and presenting findings to decision-makers and boards.
- Proactive, independent, and goal oriented.
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and similar software.
Other Experience & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis.
- Proven experience presenting complex financial data to non-financial decision-makers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
