The Education Success Specialist trains educators both in person & virtually through 1:1 training, school-wide trainings, districtwide professional development & conferences within a particular region to increase adoption and activation of EVERFI’s courses in K12 classrooms.
This hire will need to reside in California and be able to frequent the Los Angeles Metro.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct educator training & professional development sessions (in person & virtual) with educators interested in EVERFI’s products in the applicable region.
- Execute classroom launches (in person & virtual) for both regional and national audiences.
- Attend, exhibit and present at conferences both regionally & nationally to provide support for educators interested in EVERFI’s products in the applicable region and across the country.
- Customize external launch and presentation resources to meet the needs of educator audience.
- Develop relationships within the region with educators, school admin, small district admins, and education accelerators to support activation of sponsor goals.
- Support identifying school for sponsor events in the region for K12 partners, which includes close collaboration with internal marketing & revenue teams, as well as schools, districts & external partners for successful execution.
- Document and share anecdotes from students and educators in the classroom with internal account management teams & external partners.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge on trends within the K12 system, education technology, and EVERFI’s platform and courses: understand standards alignment, challenges faced by educators, implementation best practices across the country, etc.
- Log activity (calls, meetings etc.) and notes in Customer Relationship Management system and keep contact information of educators contacted and visited up to date.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of experience in the education industry, or related fields including but not limited to non-profits and technology start-ups, 3 years preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while hitting & maintaining established goals & KPIs
- Strong ability to work independently and in a remote environment
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with clients/educators
- Ability to establish and maintain remote relationships with co-workers, cross departmentally and with external clients
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent external presentation skills
- Strong presentation skills, including proficiency with presentation, communication, and collaboration tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Groove, Gong, etc.
- Experience using Salesforce.com or other data management systems preferred
- Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule at least 40% of the time
