Finance/Accounting Sr Director

As the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting for Taiwan E-commerce Business, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and incentive structures for the EC business. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy.
• Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting.
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization.
• Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
• Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to support decision-making related to business strategies, resource allocation, and revenue projections.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the EC JV and provide regular, insightful analysis on financial and operational performance.
• Establishing, maintaining and supporting compliance with company-wide accounting policies and financial statements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 15+ years of related finance experience.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; problem solving abilities.
• Demonstrated strong accounting skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting and GAAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
