As a Software Engineer, you will design, code, test and operate by developing and evolving applications that facilitate and are part of our customers’ universe, participating in the creation of APIs, integrating with the backend and helping to prioritize evolution.

We face huge scalability challenges, with over 60 million orders per month, 13 million users and over 100,000 active restaurants.

You will work very closely with the Product team, being responsible for identifying opportunities and proposing new paths for the evolution of our products, being a fundamental part of deciding the priorities of our product and business strategy.

Your Daily Menu

• Work as a team with Tech, Product and Design professionals;
• Actively participate in suggesting and developing best practices/solutions for the application, collaborate in defining concepts such as coding style guides for the entire project, in addition to being responsible for conducting the POCs;
• Development of applications in Flutter respecting the Figma layout;
• Create innovative and performance-oriented solutions
• Strengthen quality during code review and maintenance practices;
• Act on performance issues in applications and bottlenecks in CI tracks;
• Integration via APIs and scaling components efficiently through adjustments and/or major refactorings.

Ingredients we are looking for

• Being a person passionate about software development;
• Solid experience in building scalable and high-performance applications;
• Solid experience with Flutter and Dart;
• Knowledge in Clean Code & Design Pattern, A/B Testing and Git;
• Experience with REST API integration, asynchronous communication and concurrency issues in distributed systems;
• Relational and NoSQL databases, queries and experience with data modeling.
  It will be a differential:
  • Automated testing, distributed systems and security concepts in development;
  • Experience with crashlytics or bugsnag, graphql, New Relic, Logz, Amplitude, UI and integration testing;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD;
  • Knowledge of Kotlin and Swift;
  • Having worked in the agile model.
