Role Summary (1 Year Term)

We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys Cloud Developer with experience in developing intelligent chatbots and virtual agents using Google Dialogflow/Lex. The successful candidate will work closely with our development team to design and develop chatbots and virtual agents that enhance customer experience and streamline business processes.

Your typical week at Maximus

  • Develop and implement intelligent chatbots and virtual agents using Google Dialogflow/Lex and integrate them with Genesys Cloud.
  • Design and develop conversational flows, intents, entities, and responses to provide an engaging and natural customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and software engineers, to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Configure and customize Genesys Cloud platform, including designing workflows, routing strategies, and IVR solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs to ensure smooth data exchange and communication between different systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and knowledge base articles, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and support.

What you offer us

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing chatbots and virtual agents using Google Dialogflow/Lex.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of Genesys Cloud platform and its components, including routing, workflow, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in working with APIs, RESTful web services, and database systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good to have Cisco UCCE platform knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing custom integrations using Genesys Cloud APIs.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) techniques.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Salary Range – $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 CDN
