Marketing Analytics Consultant – Marketing Mix Modelling

What is the purpose of the role?This role sits within our Advanced Analytics department, who help advertisers get the best returns on their marketing and promotional spend. You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate and appropriate models, and interpret the analysis to create concise, insightful customer communications.
Key Responsibilities
Key activities:
- Create and Deliver accurate and appropriate analytic models using the tools and processes and assisting in ad hoc projects as advised by the Team Leader
- Interpret the analysis to create concise, insightful customer communications (presentations, documentation etc), being able to create and develop a narrative that is consistent with the data gathered.
- Ensure projects and deadlines are met in line with the client’s needs.
- Continually develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and expertise, by participating on in- house trainings, as well as helping and supporting Analyst and Graduate Analyst with their development.
- Extensive work with Big Data, econometrics and Marketing Mix Modelling
- Mentoring of more junior staff and daily managing more junior team members
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- You will have 3-5 years’ experience in econometrics and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM). Experience in MMM is essential for model building and training of other team members.
- Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics (with a strong focus on econometrics).
- Good knowledge of media, marketing, pricing and promotions, with a consultancy, media agency or media owner.
- Highly competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Eviews, R, Phyton or Sequel, (any programming skills would be advantageous).
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Be able to communicate in a very professional environment
- A consultant would be becoming more self sufficient on part of projects and increasingly taking more ownership of smaller client projects
- Fluent spoken English is MANDATORY as you will be reporting and working with UK (interview will be conducted entirely in English)
