Overview

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a critical role focused on maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing marketing processes, strategies, and tactics, with a keen eye on increasing ROI.

 

As a highly collaborative and tech-savvy member of the team, the Marketing Operations Specialist will leverage marketing tools and technologies to execute campaigns, measure results, and provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.

 

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong process orientation, data-driven mindset, and excellent strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize and optimize marketing tools and technologies to build efficient systems, funnels, and automated campaigns.
  • Operate and configure the CRM system and its integrations with other marketing tools.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on marketing performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and improve internal marketing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide technical training to the marketing team and stay up-to-date on the latest marketing technologies and best practices.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira) to track and manage work effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4-7 years of Marketing experience to include the analysis of website traffic using Google Analytics to uncover valuable insights to drive marketing strategy.
  • Develop and implement ad tracking strategies to monitor campaign performance and unlock data-driven optimizations.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager to manage website tags, ensuring accurate data capture and tracking across platforms.
  • Experienced in the analysis of user behavior data for consumer-facing apps.
  • Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS
  • Knowledge of SEO practices
  • Social media marketing experience
  • Basic understanding of paid ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads)
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
