This position will focus on preparing winning projects and delivering the best service in events that vary in size, format, country, leading these events at all times, liaising with the client from and all kind of suppliers. He / she must have demonstrable experience of managing technical briefs, budgeting, presenting, negotiation, and on site events management, as well as outstanding communication skills with clients, suppliers and team colleagues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing winning proposals and detailed, ppt presentations and accurate excel quotations with a sound commercial basis
  • Innovation and creativity: Demonstrating initiative and professional experience during our internal brainstorming sessions (for new destinations, venue sourcing, communication and logistic best-in-class solutions that makes American Express M&E proposals different from our competitors)
  • Plan and oversee all aspects of an event from the conception of the initial idea to the last detail of the event, working to strict deadlines and schedules
  • Onsite Project Management during events
  • Negotiation and coordination with suppliers and maximization of profitability of projects
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Working within a team environment to share best practice and assist where needed
  • To attend training workshops and supplier presentations to enhance product knowledge
  • Knowledge of incentive trips, and meetings of different client types

What we need from you:

  • Studies in Tourism, Marketing or similar.
  • > 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of destinations all over the globe for MICE (Incentive & Product Launches).
  • Expert on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Amadeus: Group and individual reservations
  • Good time management skills as well as the ability to put tasks in priority order.
  • Ability to switch gears when necessary and multitask.
  • Negotiation skills: ability to accurately predict costs, manage funds and find bargains.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills as well as superior communication skills.
  • Excellent use of the English language with write bespoke mail pieces.
  • Communication knowledge (previous experience working with Communication agencies).
  • Ability to present winning proposals to the client (offering logistic support to the ACM).
