Position Overview

We’re on the hunt for a New Business Development Lead – a pioneering force in the UK, who embodies our core values of curiosity, connectivity, ownership, and being a change-maker. This role isn’t just about new business development; it’s about being a trailblazer in the UK healthcare sector.

As the commercial leader of our UK expansion, you’ll be Founda’s frontline, spearheading our entry into the UK market with energy and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will not only lay the foundation for our presence in the UK but also ensure the nurturing and growth of our initial customer and partner relationships.

You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Role & Responsibilities

Market Trailblazer

Develop and implement a robust market-entry strategy for the UK, driving Founda’s healthcare platform sales, and establishing a strong foothold in the healthcare sector.

Healthcare Industry Pioneer

Act as the primary point of contact with healthcare providers, IT-providers, business partners, and non-profit organizations in the UK. Utilize your expertise to adeptly introduce Founda’s innovative solutions to the UK healthcare landscape.

Relationship Cultivator

Nurture and grow initial customer relationships, focusing on building a strong base and exploring opportunities for expansion. Collaborate seamlessly with Founda’s teams to ensure a united approach to customer satisfaction and lasting relationships.

Opportunity Seeker

Proactively identify and pursue new clients and opportunities in the UK, engaging with decision-makers, understanding their unique needs, and presenting Founda’s tailored solutions to meet these challenges.

Autonomous Business Developer

Independently manage the entire business development cycle, from crafting persuasive proposals and pitches to finalizing agreements, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.

Collaboration Conductor

Work closely with internal teams and strategic business partners in the UK to develop and refine business development strategies, fostering collaborations, and transforming leads into successful partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in SaaS or API-product environments within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a deep understanding of the dynamic UK healthcare sector, with specific focus on comprehensive knowledge of the NHS, its procurement frameworks, and effective strategies for partnering with and selling into the NHS.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and executing market entry strategies that align with market needs and organizational goals.
  • A history of successfully establishing new business relationships, indicating strong skills in client acquisition and network expansion.
  • Ability to independently drive business development processes, from initial engagement to deal closure and follow-up.
  • Experience in collaborating across various departments, harmonizing business development strategies with broader company objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas effectively and persuasively.
