Oracle, NAA UX & Graphic Designer

DescriptionAs part of Oracle’s marketing team, develop integrated marketing design for events, campaigns, collateral, launches, direct mail, logo design, e-marketing efforts, corporate identity and design for a global community. Set the tone for Direct Marketing, Events, and Branding Development. Work with team to build new technology demonstrations and content to support Oracle’s global marketing programs.Responsibilities

Job Complexity / Scope

Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person is responsible for the successful translation of concepts into visual expressions and will work closely with internal teams to concept, plan and deliver end-to-end user experiences. The ideal candidate should possess an excellent sense of creative strategy that enables them to communicate, negotiate, and drive design solutions across our customer sales journey.

Supervision

Reports to the NAA Sales Excellence Senior Director. Will support client-first experience methodology for new and recurring design projects.

Preferred Experience

3+ years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills.

• Experience working in interactive, visual, and/or UX design roles
• Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple highly polished and professional work under tight timelines
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to accurately set, manage, and meet deadlines
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Excellent visual design skills
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Sketch or other visual design, wire-framing and prototyping tools
• Experience in video-editing
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Strong customer-focused orientation, including a superior client first attitude and approach, with strong attention to active listening and understanding
• Experience in supporting a portfolio of work efforts aimed at bringing to life new ideas for how to meaningfully engage with our customers and sales teams
• Simplifies the complex and has impeccable, detailed-oriented execution
• Can work on and prioritize multiple initiatives and manage up as necessary

ANTICIPATED DUTIES/WORK TASKS

An integral part of this role will involve a relentless push for design excellence, and to make sure that every user experience is taken to the next level.

• Translate complex design problems, user pain points, and research findings into practical and impactful design solutions
• Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts
• Effectively communicate interaction and design ideas via sketches, wireframes, user flows, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and/or animations
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off 
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the implementation cycle
• Present designs and articulate strategy behind your solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Research and analyze industry UX/UI trends and competitor sites and strategies
• Collaborate with team members of all levels and disciplines and contributes with their perspective in discussions.
