Out of Hours Entertainment24 Senior Travel Consultant (Remote)

Full-Time (Virtual) Home-based in the UK

8.5 Hour Shifts -Working shift patterns – Times between 8.00 pm – 01:00 am on a rotation.

This position entails the precise and accurate management of after-hours emergency inquiries through various channels such as phone and email, catering to top-tier production companies, VIPs, and entertainment clientele. The ideal candidate will thrive in an independent work environment, remain composed under pressure, and consistently provide outstanding customer service. Taking initiative, demonstrating impeccable attention to detail, and committing to providing clients with exceptional service are crucial in this role.

As an Out of Hours Entertainment24 Senior Travel Consultant, you will

• Fulfill incoming travel requests/inquiries accurately & efficiently via multiple GDS
• Assist with group bookings, air/hotels, etc.
• Work well and calm under pressure whilst with excellent attention to detail
• Anticipate and provide proactive assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the client
• Understand and accurately support Production with crew and talent movements
• Manage location and large group movements
• Manage multiple complex itineraries
• Willingly aid team members within and across teams
• Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers
• Understand and accurately apply travel supplier rules
• Maintain current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
• Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Adhere to client and BCD Media & Entertainment policies and procedures to maintain quality control

About You

• Extensive experience in the travel industry (preferred)
• Fares & Ticketing level 1&2 (or equivalent experience essential)
• Experience working in a high-touch service environment (preferred)
• Strong skills in travel industry systems GDS Sabre/Amadeus/Galileo (native)
• Relevant experience booking international and domestic entertainment travel (preferred)
• Knowledge of travel industry procedures and processes
• Flexible to work on weekends and evenings
• Able to work under pressure and handle emergencies with ease
