Brown & Brown is seeking an individual to serve as the dedicated Platform and Project Manager for our Proposal Response Unit.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and oversee proposal response initiatives.
  • Possess a profound understanding of industry trends, exceptional project management abilities, and a demonstrable history of crafting compelling, gold-standard proposal responses.
  • This role demands a self-motivated professional who can seamlessly operate both independently and collaboratively across multiple departments, ensuring that our proposals consistently meet the highest quality standards and that our subject matter specialty and capabilities are continually and consistently represented.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance our RFP Tool and Response Library
  • Library and content management will demand cross-functional subject matter specialty collaboration and workflow management.
  • Manage and organize data collected from various proposals and maintain and update the proposal collateral for future use, ensuring it remains current, relevant, aligned to latest capabilities and desired output, and legal / marketing approvals met on a continual basis.
  • Serve as the national contact for Risk Match or BAM related data insights required for custom RFP response and output.
  • Leader will work with account executives and sales leaders to draft new responses, proofread, and edit proposal content as required, guaranteeing that all content is accurate, persuasive, and compliant with proposal request requirements.
  • Continuously researching industry trends, competitive advantages, and client needs. The platform and project leader will collaborate closely with senior leaders and field leaders to stay informed and strategically position proposals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Advanced knowledge in employee benefit insurance coverages and contracts, complex employee benefit funding arrangements, and available State and Federal programs.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Power Point, and Publisher.
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience.
  • Deep market knowledge to understand proposal trends and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing RFP processes and developing proposal content.
  • Strong understanding of market positioning, branding, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex material clearly and concisely.
  • Skilled in using technology and electronic publishing programs.
