Job Summary

PeopleFun is seeking a dedicated and passionate Product Manager to join our growing Wordscapes Solitaire team. Launched globally in August 2024, Wordscapes Solitaire has become a top 10 grossing game in the word games category, with exciting plans for continued growth and innovation. Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication skills & the ability to make critical decisions based on strong analytical reasoning, backed by clear evidence.
In this role, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Lead Product Manager, and Lead Designer to prioritize and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement, advertising revenue, and in-app purchase revenue across major features and live operations.
Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to assess the impact of new features and initiatives, set clear goals, and prioritize the product roadmap based on strategic importance.
    • Own development of assigned features, working closely with the team to ensure seamless execution and high-quality outcomes by removing blockers, communicating status updates, and providing essential resources during the development process.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and manage key features that drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue, aligned with the product’s growth strategy. You will critically define the scope, optimize the workload, secure stakeholder buy-in, and balance KPI targets with project timelines.
    • Lead and own live operation elements, including planning, scheduling, executing, and analyzing live events to drive player engagement and revenue growth. With live ops as a major initiative in 2025, you’ll define live ops tools from MVP to advanced stages, execute live ops events, and apply learnings for continuous optimization.
    • Analyze and optimize game economies at both the game and feature level to create exceptional player experiences, improve retention, and increase monetization. You’ll deep dive into player segments to deliver tailored solutions for features, live operations, and limited-time offers.
    • Develop and maintain taxonomies, and conduct game analytics to provide actionable insights into player behavior and core financial performance.
    • Formulate A/B test hypotheses, design and prioritize experiments, oversee their execution, and analyze results to offer data-driven recommendations that optimize player experience and key performance metrics.

Requirements

    • 1+ year(s) of professional experience in Product Management and Live Operations, with a strong preference to those with mobile gaming experience
    • Strong quantitative analysis skills with a history of supporting data-informed decisions using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau
    • Familiarity with A/B Testing including test design, execution, analysis and developing of actionable recommendations
    • Professional experience with a wide range of business models and monetization mechanics, including, but not limited to, free-to-play and subscription business models
    • Demonstrated experience making structured, hypothesis-driven product improvements
    • Strong interest in gaming (casual mobile preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

    • 1+ years PM & live operations experience, within mobile gaming
    • Demonstrated experience performing product research at industry, genre & product level
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong desire to iterate and improve on processes
    • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and priorities and work with minimal management
    • Receptive to constructive feedback with strong critical thinking and communications skills

PeopleFun provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $80,000-$115,000. Base compensation at PeopleFun is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
