GHD is looking for a highly skilled civil engineer to fill the role of Project Director for our New Zealand Transport Infrastructure business group focused on delivering Design and Construct projects across New Zealand. 

Based in Auckland, this senior role will play a vital part in our Transport business, from input on bids through to successfully delivering projects for our clients. You’ll  show technical leadership in your field across the Region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading large and complex single or multidisciplinary D&C projects
• Contributing to D&C pursuits, winning work and tendering
• Developing and growing relationships with Contractors and Partners
• Resolving issues between the Project Manager, the client and other team members.
• Working closely with other disciplines within the Region to ensure a comprehensive approach to multi-disciplinary design projects.

About you:

• You will have an extensive project management experience 
• You will be degree qualified Engineer with at least 15 years’ experience successfully delivering complex and D&C projects 
• You will demonstrate a proactive, analytical and problem-solving skills to developing solutions to meet client needs.
• You will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and demonstrate a high attention to detail.
