Explore your next role:
The Project Manager, Avparts, supports the Sales, Business Development and Acquisitions by securing deals, contracts and new business. The Project Manager will also participate in the formulation of program strategies, governance and processes. This opportunity is remote based. Project Management:
- Manage aircraft and inventory acquisition project activities
- Monitor market conditions and adjust the business development strategy as appropriate.
- Monitor the status of business development projects.
- Research, develop and recommend best practices, processes & strategies for the discovery of new business opportunities.
- Develop needs analysis, feasibility studies, and other related documents to effectively evaluate possible new lines of business.
- Recommend internal processes to define product and/or services strategies, plans and priorities.
- Develop Programs and expand globally.
- Identify and manage overall program costs and budgets including standard inventory and material list costs

Sales and Spends:
- Monitor and report progress of the strategic plan monthly.
- Draft and finalize agreements to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Ongoing development of product diversification to meet industry requirements.
- Report outcome on actual project budgets on a monthly basis
- Track all spends to ensure they align with budget requirements.
- Support product and services strategies, plans and priorities.
- Monitor and determine life cycles and profitability management for the organization.
- Collaborate with Outside Part Sales Managers and Inside Sales to grow the business.
Process:
- Aligned processed to the corporate requirements.
- Measure project performance by interpreting data and deliverables, making necessary adjustments when necessary.
- Provide the technical support during part outs
- Capture project shortfalls and make recommendations to recover and improve the project process
- Maintain inventory management processes for improved receipt of part out inventory and surplus inventory buys..
- Support process improvement initiatives in Avparts with a focus on the records and quality management team.
- Track and measure performance of partnerships, including key metrics and KPIs. Continuously assess the effectiveness of partnerships and make recommendations for improvement.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management or related field.
- Preferred Post Secondary Degree in Business, Engineering or related.

- Progressive experience in Project Management,
- Thorough understand and abilities to read and interpret an IPC, CMM, AMM, drawings and additional technical materials
- Must be proficient in software critical to customer communication, i.e., PowerPoint, Word.
- Must be proficient in spreadsheet creation and management involved in forecasting and price modeling. i.e., Excel
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software
- Experience in WinAir would be beneficial
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Excellent project delivery skills, with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional projects
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, strong communicator, and have to ability to deal with ambiguity, and a passion & drive sales and change management
- Collaborative team player
- The ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity while under time constraints
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Formal training in project management would be an asset.
- Strong technical knowledge within aviation and aircraft systems would be an asset
- Strong ability to understand and analyze program financial data.
- Ability to track work accomplished to baseline plans and identify issues, track progress, and follow through on effective corrective actions based on data analysis and trends.
