Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will work collaboratively with operations teams, provider relations, IT, and other corporate functions to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute significant projects for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with project leaders and user liaisons, functional and IT team, and vendors to facilitate the creation and maintenance of master roadmap, consolidation of all key project plans, dependencies, timelines, prioritization, risks, tracking budget versus actual and all delivery capabilities
- Manages projects throughout the project and lifecycle including, project definition and baselining, scoping, project planning, resource planning, kick-off, risk management, and execution.
- Manages projects throughout the engineering lifecycle including following Systems Engineering processes to take the project through appropriate control gates, managing entry/exit criteria, and developing technical deliverables, tracking deployments, and transition to operations.
- Proficient in technical and business project management tools, including GANTT charts and scheduling software, agile methodology tools and project management and communication software.
- Works collaboratively with Operations teams, Provider Relations, IT, and other corporate functions to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute major projects for the company.
- Provides full transparency and escalate issues to manager when project milestones may be in jeopardy.
- Continually evaluates risks, collect and analyze data and provide recommendations to management for necessary decision making.
- Takes on a combination of project management tasks in their day-to-day work including, brainstorming, planning, scheduling and designating project tasks, executing the project phases, managing the project budget, communicating with stakeholders and collaborating with department heads.
- Optimizes communication skills and manages the technical complexities and resources throughout the duration of a project
- Identifies and develop solutions for process improvement.
- Responsible for the development, design and implementation of the AIML/NLP capabilities across LQTC.
- Responsible for creating and managing roadmaps for AIML/NLP enhancements across LQTC.
- Provide interface support between Leidos and QTC teams across AIML/NLP and innovate capabilities.
Requirements/Competencies:
- Ability to follow organizational Project Management and Systems Engineering processes such as taking the project through appropriate control gates, managing entry/exit criteria, and developing deliverables
- Solid knowledge of database structure systems with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence toolsets and development skills
- Experience with the Systems Engineering methodology
- Translating business needs into requirements
- Developing requirements and ensuring requirements traceability to the software development process
- Ability to lead a team in solving complex problems
- Experience with working Software Development or Engineering related projects

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Software Development or related business field.
- Minimum 5+ years in a relevant role.
- Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- AI Machine Learning Certifications
- Master’s degree in technical field
Pay and Benefits:
Salary range (level 3): $89,000 – $109,000 + eligibility for up to 8% annual bonus that is paid quarterly
