We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Analyst with expertise in testing a web-based application.   • Work closely with the rest of the engineering team members to test application features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Help drive future testing technology direction and framework selection across different products that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Ensure software meets all non-functional specifications, performance, and security requirements.
  • Be proactive in analyzing feature, debugging applications, providing feedback in a timely manner; create appropriate documentation and/or run books where appropriate.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Utilize problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in full stack development.
  • Assume responsibility for other similar professional duties as assigned based on project needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Excellent understanding of test planning methodologies and best practices centered around enterprise end-to-end testing and manual testing
  • Experience in UAT testing, DB Testing, Regression Testing, Web Testing, and SQL Queries
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze business requirements, raise questions, and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
  • Experience working within an Agile methodology

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Adept at solving complicated technical problems.
  • Able to triage issues within the code and/or data.
  • Experience in cross browser support issues and solutions.
  • Experience in responsive web design.
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.
  • Ability to clear required background check.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • At least 4+ years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on web based applications.
  • Skilled in designing and authoring test scenarios, test cases, and use cases for assigned projects
  • Proficient in using Postman for API testing for network traffic analysis and error handling.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
  • Experience with Figma for validating features.
  • Ability to execute SQL queries using SQL developer tools (SQL knowledge is preferred).
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Ghost Inspector, Chrome developer tools, and specific tools for web application testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $53,944.50- $158,919.60. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
