About the Role:

• We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI accelerator architectures. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a global team and shape the future of AI accelerator technology.

• Responsibilities:
  • Research and design novel AI accelerator architectures to support next-generation AI algorithms. 
  • Joint work with a Japanese-based team on the development of new technology in AI algorithms and computer architectures.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with vendors to foster collaborative innovation in computing technology and new AI algorithms.
  • Partner with startups to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) projects in North America or Europe, demonstrating the business potential of our new computing technologies.

• Minimum Qualification
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of software and hardware of computer systems.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.

• Preferred Qualification
  • Doctoral degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience optimizing AI or high-performance computing (HPC) workloads on CPU and/or GPU clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of computer architectures, including the modern microprocessors and accelerators.
  • Familiarity with software technologies for hardware execution, such as compiler, runtime routines, and libraries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
