The Director of Sales for Kindeva Drug Delivery (KDD) will lead the development of Kindeva new business opportunity and growth.  The role will be responsible for uncovering new sales opportunities for Kindeva’s entire enterprise suite of services and product offering including but not limited to pulmonary drug delivery, injectable drug delivery, nasal drug delivery, transdermal drug delivery and analytical services. 

The Director of Sales, is responsible for uncovering, developing, and winning new sales demand in line with Kindeva’s growth objectives.  Additionally, this role requires building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring existing client needs are met, and driving ongoing business by identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and renew contracts, essentially acting as a liaison between Kindeva and our clients to foster long-term partnerships.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • This role is accountable for results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive sales volume and profitable revenue across our enterprise services and product offering in development and early, late phase and commercial manufacturing.
  • Responsibility for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of actionable key new business plans .
  • This individual has the ability to generate early analytical, formulation and process development as well as and clinical and late phase GMP manufacturing business prospects, with demonstrated ability to uncover and grow customer relationships with virtual, small, mid–large pharma, specialty and generic pharmaceutical companies.
  • Identify effective market segments and drive creation of prospective client target lists supporting new business objectives.
  • Lead communication of KDD offerings, services and value propositions, convincing potential customers to select KDD as their outsourced development and manufacturing partner of choice.
  • Lead negotiations for the contracting of KDD development and manufacturing services with partners.
  • Reporting directly to KDDs VP and Head of Enterprise Sales, this role will act as the sales leader for growth strategy.  
  • Collaborates internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. In particular, has key partnership with technical and operational leaders in KDD’s facilities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to request and design specific marketing campaigns to meet the business goals and analyze inbound marketing data/trends to drive new business.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of sales, business development, or key account management experience in the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry, with a proven record of driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level contract negotiations for clinical and commercial manufacturing supply agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes, with a focus on injectable product development and GMP manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high-impact sales strategies that drive growth across diverse market segments.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a history of managing cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems to track and manage sales pipelines effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a strategic mindset and results-oriented approach.

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related fields
