Education Sales Manager

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager role is responsible for executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth and profitability for Gumdrop and Brenthaven in the education market, as well as leading a small inside sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and execute a success plan that drives growth of sales and profits for the brands in assigned territory

• Lead, manage, coach and develop assigned sales team

• Accurate pipeline management and forecasting

• Field engagement to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, resellers, and OEM partners, ensuring our brands remain their product of choice

• Drive pricing proposals for large projects

• Bring market insights to R&D and Marketing teams which help drive our overall strategy

• Represent PSB in the field, at industry events, and trade shows

• Partner with internal demand planning and operations teams to forecast to win large, complex opportunities

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Collaborative, results-oriented sales leader with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals

• Proven track record in sales leadership

• Ability to execute company priorities proactively

• Effective team player with ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally

• Excellent planning, investigative, analytical and reporting skills

• Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 4+ years experience working remote as a sales leader managing an inside sales team

• Experience selling into education

• Experience presenting to Executive Leadership

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Effective at running territory mapping and pipeline review calls

• Ability to understand data, run reports, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience utilizing Salesforce preferred

• Approximately 60% travel required
