This role will be the face of the Amex GBT Ovation Network for the West and Central regions, responsible for supplier relations, partnerships, and management of our luxury Independent Agents.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with leisure suppliers and Independent Agents to grow and strengthen the Ovation Network.
- As a Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to optimize and deliver enhanced value to our Independent Agents (IAs), ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed.
- Manage existing relationships, build strong partnerships, cultivate new ones. You will play a pivotal role in fostering existing IA relationships, building strong partnerships, and cultivating new ones to expand our network and drive growth.
- Help in identification of new technology, services and solutions that optimize the Ovation Network, ensuring we provide a world-class experience to our partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for any west coast supplier queries – ensuring that their needs are met, and they receive exceptional service.
- Responsible for any and all IA coordination, challenges, questions – ensuring that our IAs have a flawless experience and are aware of the support they have from Amex GBT Ovation.
- Independent Agent Portal – assist with overall content and areas of opportunity – keeping IAs informed of valuable resources and latest information.
- Liaise between Independent Agents and various business units including but not limited to accounting/finance, Operations/IT, etc. to establish a clear line of communication and collaboration.
- Foster positive relationships with highly skilled professionals, striving to strengthen our partnerships and enhance our offerings.
- Represent and attend key supplier meetings, trade shows, industry events to represent our company, showcasing our world-class services and building our reputation.
- Responsible for establishing a community of Independent Agents who excel in engaging with others, promoting collaboration, encouraging the sharing of effective strategies within our network.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of leisure travel experience with proven ability to deliver connected customer experiences, positive relationships, and communications. Travel/Hospitality experience is required.
- Someone who enjoys networking, can identify new opportunities, attracting new talent to grow the business.
- Strong partnership management and supplier relation skills as you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening our relationships with suppliers.
- Someone who demonstrates a forward-thinking approach, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and can effectively translate ideas into actionable plans with exceptional execution.
- Excellent understanding of data and analytics and how this is used to power our IA and partner relationships.
- Demonstrate strong people leadership skills, inspire, motivate and develop a team. This is not a people leadership role.
- We are looking for someone who can instigate and drive positive change, leading multifunctional teams through transformation and supporting them to operate effectively through periods of change.
- This role requires strong senior management skills and the ability to navigate matrix organizations and that can influence at every level.
- Global experience and working with remote teams and time zones is a plus.
- The ideal candidate has a consistent record of delivering results in a highly commercial environment.
