Amex GBT Egencia is seeking a Program Manager to join our Product & Engineering team.

We are looking for someone who loves solving real-world business problems and dedicated to innovative thinking to ensure Amex GBT Egencia continues to be the technology leader in the corporate travel space.

You will work within the Product and Engineering organization and, in working with our business partners in Amex GBT Egencia, be a part of reshaping how our customers use our products from beginning to end, being held accountable for driving the delivery of business solutions that improve business processes, surface measurable insights, and support executive decision-making.

Led by an experienced, forward-thinking management team, Amex GBT Egencia has continued to expand its offering of intuitive online tools and comprehensive Travel Consultant services while maintaining its reputation for outstanding customer service globally.
What you’ll do:

  • Own the delivery (from inception to go-to-market) of cross functional programs which span across P&E, Finance, GCO and B2B Excellence.
  • Identify the relevant stakeholders for each program and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with all partners to understand the work breakdown, activity sequencing & develop the plan for delivery.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues and validate planning assumptions as they come up.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular status updates, written or verbal.
  • Establish and execute governance routines and practices as needed to keep the program on track.
  • Where needed, act as the planning vanguard for teams under your remit, for 90 and 180 days planning cycles.

Who you are: 

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years of Technical Program or Product Management experience in a professional technology organization, such as e-commerce
  • Has a deep understanding of business process flows in Customer Service and/or Finance organization
  • OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY VALUED : Transportation / Travel Industry Knowledge.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills; using data to validate an approach
  • Communicates concisely to different levels of the organization.
  • Works to provide clarity when given ambiguous scope.
  • Consistently able to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Works with the organization to drive decision making
