About the role

Silvaco is looking for a Senior Revenue manager to develop and scale the revenue accounting function to support the growth of the business and ensure compliance with ASC 606. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role will oversee the entire order-to-cash process by leading the revenue month-end close process, developing and/or refining revenue policies, and managing key financial processes related to revenue accounting, commissions and accounts receivable. Additionally, the Senior Manager will partner with the 3rd party service provider to identify and implement automation opportunities. Full supervisory responsibilities for billing/collections staff.

What you’ll do

Revenue Recognition: Develop, implement, and maintain and/or refine revenue recognition policies, procedures, and processes across our global operations and ensure compliance with ASC 606 and alignment with our business objectives.

Month-End Close: Manage the month-end revenue close process, including tracking license deliveries, monitoring customer acceptances, and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations. Continually develop, expand and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures and drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities.

Contract Review: Analyze customer contracts for non-standard terms and interpret complex revenue recognition scenarios, ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606.

Standalone Selling Price (SSP): Maintain and update the SSP for our products and services to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

Accounts Receivable Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of accounts receivable and collection process, including monitoring aged accounts, identifying and resolving any issues in the revenue cycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various business units and international teams to provide financial guidance and ensure cohesive revenue strategies and alignment with overall business goals.

Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze revenue trends and partner with FP&A in developing revenue forecast models to support strategic decision-making

Process improvement: Identify and implement automation opportunities by partnering with the 3rd party service provider

Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • Minimum of 8+ years overall experience in revenue accounting with a Software or SaaS company

• Experience working in Saas.

  • Public accounting experience and CPA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP with extensive experience in the application of SOX 404.
  • Ability and motivation to work collaboratively across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, highly detailed, organized, and able to handle multiple competing deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team player and comfortable working in fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel. Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Salesforce is preferred.
