That is responsible for the performance and reliability of our Cloud Computing fleet As a Software Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for: – Developing software that enhances the software integrity of the Compute fleet. – Leading the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability – Participating in technical discussions as a valued team member – Assisting junior team members develop their skills – Researching, proposing, and integrating relevant open-source projects based on product objectives – Working on the host software that powers our data centers Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: – +7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field. – Be experienced in designing and implementing scalable and modular software architectures – Demonstrate experience implementing scalable software with one of the following: Python, C++, Java, Golang – Experience with Network technology (i.e TCP/IP and Congestion Control Algorithms is a bonus – Understand the Linux operating system, the kernel and virtualization. – Have a great understanding of algorithms, with experience in profiling and root cause analysis of issues.
