Senior Software Test Engineer

• Collaborate with product Test, Development, and Engineering teams to derive clear product and feature requirements
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies for new features
• Create detailed test plans and automate them to ensure feature validation
• Utilize Python and Robot Framework to automate features, ensuring robust coverage within the CI/CD framework. Continuously refine sanity test scripts for improved test coverage
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts, analyze failures, debug issues, and manage defects through resolution
• Engage with Cross-functional Teams, including local and remote Test Engineers, Development Engineers, PLLs, Customer-Support, and TAC, fostering a collaborative environment
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in test automation within the Networking domain7.
• Proficiency in developing automation using Python and Robot Framework, with at least 5 years of dedicated experience
• In-depth knowledge of testing in areas such as PON technologies, Routing & Switching Protocols, Subscriber management, and Telemetry
• Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks, particularly Bamboo, for test scheduling and result reporting
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of proactive planning and effective crisis management
• Independent work ethic with attention to detail, and the ability to communicate status, issues, and needs effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
