We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst – SEO to support our digital marketing efforts by developing and maintaining performance dashboards, analyzing visitor behavior, and identifying optimization opportunities. In this role, you will provide actionable insights to enhance our SEO strategies and video channel performance, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data tracking and analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing analytics, web analytics tools, and data visualization.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.
- Dashboard Management: Publish and maintain a standard set of SEO and video performance dashboards and scorecard reports, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Visitor Behavior Analysis: Provide insights into site visitor behavior and engagement to identify optimization opportunities, inform site design changes, and help prioritize these opportunities based on value, potential, effort, and resources.
- SEO & Video Channel Reporting: Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and revenue attribution, as well as video content performance across platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
- A/B Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization: Assist in the analysis and reporting for A/B testing focused on conversion rate optimization, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance user experience and performance.
- Web Analytics Implementation: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive web analytics implementation and tracking across acquisition channels.
- Proactive Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Proactively monitor customer behavior on our websites to detect potential issues, assist in determining root causes, and work to resolve errors.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to continually optimize web page performance and drive SEO improvements.
- Data Querying & Integration: Utilize SQL and other tools to query and join data from multiple sources, enabling comprehensive analysis and reporting.
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
- 4+ years of corporate experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, including the development of analytics dashboards, solutions, and strategies across digital marketing platforms and ecosystems.
- Background supporting E-Commerce sites or corporations is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with large and complex SQL databases.
- Expertise in one or more leading web analytics and optimization tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Optimizely, etc.).
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel or similar tools (e.g., Tableau) for data manipulation and visualization is required.
- Familiarity with experimental design and statistical analysis to drive business decision-making.
- A deep understanding of customer behavior, sales and marketing psychology, ROI analysis, and design/testing methodologies.
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts and data science methodologies.
- Experience with digital marketing channel analysis (PPC, SEO, Display, Social).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, MIS, Mathematics, Business, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
