And when it comes to the top tech companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, Netflix, etc., they can be downright brutal. Most candidates don’t make it simply because they don’t prepare well enough. InterviewKickstart (IK) helps candidates nail the most challenging tech interviews.

At IK, current and former hiring managers at these top companies train candidates in an intense interview prep course to prepare them for the most challenging interviews.

We are looking for Cloud Solution Architects with experience in AWS Cloud to join us as part-time curriculum developers. This role will provide opportunities to network with other experts, understand learner issues, and contribute to the Cloud Professional community.

Responsibilities: 

• Curriculum Development: 
• Select appropriate topics and design learning objectives.
• Be responsible for lesson plan creation, ensuring clarity with topics and flow.
• Create engaging and well-structured content on one or more topics listed above.
• Align content with overall learning objectives and industry requirements.
• Provide students with an excellent hands-on understanding of the topics.
• Create instructional materials such as lecture slides, assignments, and projects.
• Ensure the curriculum covers all crucial aspects of interviews at tier 1 companies.

• Content Review and Quality Assurance:
• Evaluate and provide feedback on content created by other SME authors to ensure alignment with the curriculum vision.
• Work closely with our internal team and external technical reviewers to refine and finalize the curriculum.
• Ensure the curriculum covers all crucial aspects of interviews at tier 1 companies.

• Instruction Delivery (optional): 
• Conduct lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions.
• Teach Cloud principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Use lectures, demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and group discussions.

Note: Separate pay structures for curriculum creation, content review, and instruction (if applicable)

• Constantly improve the session flow and delivery by working with other instructors, subject matter experts, and the IK team.
• Help the IK team in onboarding and training other instructors and coaches
• Have regular discussions with IK’s curriculum team in evolving the curriculum.

AWS Cloud Architect Interview Course 

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in tier-1 tech companies as a Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Excellent understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and services.
• Have hands-on experience with designing AWS Cloud Architecture at Scale
• Professional Certifications in either of the three, AWS Cloud, GCP, or Azure, are highly recommended.
• Participation in interview panels and hiring committees
• High levels of empathy to understand the challenges faced by students and willingness to help them out
• Should be willing to work on weekends and weekday evenings(IST)

Preferred Skills/tools:

• AWS Cloud Services Infrastructure 
• Experience in designing secure and scalable cloud solutions 
• Cloud Services for Security, Migration, and Storage (AWS/Azure/GCP services)
• Monitoring, Troubleshooting Systems
• Linux Systems
• Scripting – Shell, Python, or Perl
• Networking (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, Subnetting, etc.)
