As a Software Development Intern on the Digital Technology Team, the intern will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development in one or more of these technologies MuleSoft/Informatica or AWS  based on requirement. In this position the intern will interact with various business teams to gather requirements, plan timelines, design and build solutions. They will have the opportunity to work with our experienced technology teams and architects to contribute to cutting-edge projects, enhance their skills, and learn about the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the integration team to design, develop, and maintain Signet Digital integration applications.
  • Assist Integration team with development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with multiple technical teams to come up with the best design.
  • Work with our website, distributor order management and AWS teams to build integrations, POCs etc.
  • Work with business teams to understand requirements, build required dashboards and tools to help productivity and visibility.
  • Work on cloud technologies and integration projects, including connecting and automating systems, APIs, and databases.
  • Analyze real production issues that are impacting Signet systems and customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in computer science or similar field
  • Knowledgeable in Integration, cloud technologies and/or programming technologies like java, XML, SQL.
  • Understanding how to work with application programming interfaces (APIs) for integration
  • Proficiency in Git for collaboration and code management.
  • Basics of networking and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP) and familiarity with automation and infrastructure as a code.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent analytical and Documentation skills
  • Desire to learn new technologies, collaborative & curious.

Work Environment:

  • Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location
  • Fulltime (40 hours/12 weeks) May – August 2025.

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
