Title: Software Engineer – Expert
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 8 month contract

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Team of 15: Platform team developing solutions for infrastructure + automation like access control, networking, data integrations, model refresh, A/B testing, observability, paved path terraform, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Assessing well-defined problems and leading the development of technical solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural standards
- Managing small- to moderate-sized solutions, or playing a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints
- Providing direction to team members and/or vendors
- Advising product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulating options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and working with product owners to determine the best solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- 2+ years professional software development experience
- Programming skills in Python, Golang
- Infrastructure as Code / Dev Ops practices and technologies like Terraform
- AWS Cloud services experience
- Experience developing and using microservices
Preferred:
- Knowledge on AIML / machine learning concepts (ML Serving / ML Training, GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, A/B Testing, Model Experimentation)
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark)
- Experience with Databricks ecosystem
