The Software Engineer I will be responsible for implementing functional software solutions for Aspire’s Crew Control product. Crew Control is a lightweight business management solution for small to medium businesses in the landscaping and general trades..

What you’ll do:

• Implement key software components in the context of an existing architecture.
• Work closely in a small agile team environment.
• Collaborate with our lead developer on developing new features and fixing bugs.
• Develop unit tests for all your code.
• Develop integration tests where appropriate.
• Conduct code reviews, document, and follow-up on issues.
• Assist with quality assurance testing of other developer’s features.
• Be available for on-call rotation. Issues are extremely uncommon.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in an engineering role for a software or SaaS company is preferred but not required.
