The Software Engineer I will be responsible for implementing functional software solutions for Aspire’s Crew Control product. Crew Control is a lightweight business management solution for small to medium businesses in the landscaping and general trades..
What you’ll do:
- Implement key software components in the context of an existing architecture.
- Work closely in a small agile team environment.
- Collaborate with our lead developer on developing new features and fixing bugs.
- Develop unit tests for all your code.
- Develop integration tests where appropriate.
- Conduct code reviews, document, and follow-up on issues.
- Assist with quality assurance testing of other developer’s features.
- Be available for on-call rotation. Issues are extremely uncommon.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in an engineering role for a software or SaaS company is preferred but not required.
