The Role

You’ll design and build large-scale data pipelines specifically tailored for healthcare environments. This will involve close collaboration with hospital IT teams to build EHR integrations, as well as core platform engineering to deploy ML-driven products at scale with the highest security standards.Key Responsibilities

  • EHR Integrations: Integrate with various EHR platforms using FHIR, HL7 and other data exchange standards.

  • Data Pipelines: Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Python, Airflow (or similar) to handle large volumes of healthcare data.

  • Infrastructure & Deployment: Leverage cloud services (AWS experience desirable) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker) to deploy and manage ML pipelines and front-end interfaces.

  • Security & Compliance: Implement HIPAA-compliant architectures with robust encryption, role-based access controls, and secure coding practices.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead technical discussions, share best practices, and coach junior engineers.

About You

Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development (or equivalent) with fluency in Python

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Terraform, Docker)

  • Big bonus: Experience with EHR integrations including HL7/FHIR standards

Remote options

We are ideally seeking candidates based in our existing hubs of NYC or London, willing to come into the office at least 3 days per week. However, we’re willing to consider remote options for exceptional candidates.
