Software Engineer – Java Backend

As a backend Software Engineer you will be responsible for Design and developing high quality, scalable and secure server-side functionalities. Coding is done in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot with SQL and NoSQL database technologies, hosted in AWS.

Architect and implement efficient, modular and reusable server-side components and systems and effectively participate in design discussions, code reviews and code analysis.

About the Team

DTO Cloud Native Engineering Team is building a channel self-service platform (Portal and open APIs) for distributors and resellers. New team functioning as a start up and learning on the go and progressing. Startup culture, building new platform from scratch, opportunity to work on the latest cloud native technology stack and excel in that space

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years of backend software development experience with Java, Spring and Spring Boot
• Demonstrate expertise in building RESTful APIs, low latency APIs, and microservices
• Experience with Java Multithreading: concurrent data structures, parallel algorithms, and thread management
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB etc.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools. Proficient understanding of git and best practices
• Experience with application logging and performance monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK/Kibana, Datadog, Prometheus etc.
• Experience with AWS cloud services
