South Denver: Interpreters for Parent-Teacher Conferences

Language Nexus (Accent on Language’s sister company) is a woman-owned language company serving local entities in Denver, Colorado. Being in the industry for more than 20 years, we offer world-class translation, interpreting/interpretation, localization, transcription, language assessment, and many other language related services.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A IN-PERSON POSITION, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU RESIDE IN COLORADO.

We are seeking professional in-person interpreters for parent-teacher conferences happening the week of March 10–March 14, as well as future assignments in South Denver, CO. We are especially in need of Spanish interpreters, but any language is welcomed.

Desired Qualifications:

-Must be native in the target language.

-Must be bi-cultural in addition to being bilingual.

-Minimum 1 year of experience in providing consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation

-Able to communicate properly and efficiently with second/third parties.

-Able to offer accurate and complete rendition of dialogues in both English and the target language

-Willing to undergo a background check (fingerprinting) in South Denver

Preferred Candidates will possess:

-Experience assisting SPED and IEP school meeting

-Degree in interpreting or translation

-Certifications for interpretation (CCHI, NBCMI, Court Certification, ATA Certification, ALTA, RID, etc.)
