We are looking for a Senior People Analytics Analyst to help us grow our People Analytics function. In this role, you will be a key member of the HR strategy team by automating all HR technologies and implementing a strategic HR dashboard to ensure that all HR team and the business have access to critical metrics and information to make informed decisions about Sonder’s most valuable assets, our EMPLOYEES! 

The Senior Analyst of People Analytics will report directly to the Senior Director of People Strategy and Total Rewards and will work transversally with the People management team (and with leaders of other organizations) in order to centralize all data and analyzes relating to people within a center of excellence. 

The opportunity:

  • Implement and centralize all employee data as a key player in the People Analytics department.
  • Automate data and reporting across all HR systems and platforms.
  • Launch and manage a strategic dashboard with essential information for the business and the management team.
  • Create Sonder’s people analytics strategy and approach moving forward.
  • Create and manage human resources dashboards that are presented to the management team and the board of directors.
  • Work on personnel analytics projects related to overall personnel strategy (e.g., compensation-related projects).

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, human resources or a related field and more than 4 years of experience.  
  • 3+ years of professional experience in HR data processing and analytical process streamlining/automation , including database creation.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in developing workforce dashboards using visualization tools e.g. MS Office, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in formulating workforce planning strategies using data from analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in presenting analysis results to stakeholders from different business units.

Desired skills and requirements:

  • Knowledge of programming languages, e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx, R, SAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM functionalities.
  • You have good oral and written communication skills; you are able to effectively communicate status, issues and risks to the entire team.
  • Proficient in Google sheets, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service and cross-functional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong desire to continually learn and improve.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience in the technology sector is strongly desired.
