The Opportunity

Solution Architects help customers succeed by advising them on the right digital marketing strategies, product implementation approaches, and consulting services needed to meet their business objectives.

The Technical Solution Architect, will partner across the Adobe ecosystem with sales, consulting, product, and more teams to provide domain expertise primarily for Adobe Journey Optimizer, as well as other solutions in our Customer Journey Management practice (Campaign, Target, Marketo) and Experience Platform (AJO, AJO B2B, RTCDP, CJA). The TSA will lead discoveries to identify customer challenges and objectives, define architectures, scope out a roadmap of consulting services, and present your proposal to the customer, walking them through their path to success and strong business value.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate in a fast-paced environment and responsible for driving multiple customer opportunities in parallel
  • Partner with Adobe Professional Services sales teams to conduct business and technical discovery with customers
  • Problem solve, build digital marketing strategies, develop solutions, architectures, and use cases to help customers meet their objectives
  • Work closely with product management and consulting leadership teams to define Adobe Journey Optimizer go-to-market strategies
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Adobe Journey Optimizer features, roadmap, and standard methodologies
  • Develop robust recommendations, proposals, and SOWs
  • Present proposals to executive-level customers in a clear and compelling way
  • Help customers understand Adobe’s capabilities and the ground-breaking power of digital marketing
  • Continuously improve the Solution Architecture team’s knowledge, methodologies, and customer-facing collateral – specifically on Journey Optimizer

What you need to succeed

  • 7-12 years of experience working in a leading consulting or technology organization
  • Technical knowledge of our Customer Journey Management solutions, including Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Campaign, and/or deep experience in competing Marketing Automation solutions.
  • Strong aim to solve customer problems and rapidly convert pipeline opportunities into closed deals
  • Balance of business and technology savvy, including the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and to tie your solutions to program success criteria
  • Excellent customer-facing skills with experience presenting to senior executives (managers, directors, VPs, CMOs, and CXOs)
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer-facing skills with experience making pitches to and achieving agreement from senior executives (managers, directors, VPs, CMOs, and CXOs)
  • Outstanding communications skills both oral and written (e.g., Powerpoint)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple sales opportunities at the same time
  • Understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape and experience with relevant Digital Marketing strategies and technologies
  • Understanding of the typical digital marketing use cases of (Experience / Asset Management, Analytics, Personalization, Ecommerce, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time

Special Consideration is given for:

  • Experience as an AJO, AEP, or Campaign implementation consultant or similar/related role
  • Experience & knowledge with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
  • Experience & knowledge with Marketing Automation or Web Analytics
  • Experience & knowledge with Digital Experience Strategy
