About Us:

It started with a struggle: Homethrive’s two founders both experienced the challenges of caregiving for family members while working. They found a confusing, hard to navigate system. They got sucked into the Google rabbit hole in the search for answers and directions. Even after taking countless days off work and spending long hours on the phone, they couldn’t find the answers they needed. They knew there had to be a better way.

So, they created Homethrive. We are transforming family caregiving and leading the way to better outcomes for caregivers, their loved ones, and their respective health plans. Homethrive’s personal caregiving coach and assistant provides the knowledge, recommendations, and support that our members need, all in one interactive tool.

Position Overview:

As a Virtual Companion at Homethrive, you will have a unique and fulfilling role in improving the lives of our aging clients. You will be responsible for providing compassionate support through phone calls, video chats, engaging in activities to encourage companionship, and coordinating essential resources. This role is ideal for individuals with at least two years of call center/high call volume experience, a passion for helping people, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of seniors.

This role is full-time and may be required to work nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Phone-Based Support: Engage in meaningful conversations with our aging clients, providing them with companionship, empathy, and support through virtual interactions.
  • Activity Engagement: Plan and facilitate virtual activities to encourage social interaction and companionship, tailored to the interests and needs of each client.
  • Resource Coordination: Identify and coordinate available resources and services to meet the unique needs of our clients, enhancing their overall well-being.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by actively listening to client needs and providing responsive and compassionate support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, activity plans, and resource coordination for effective service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Homethrive team to share insights, learn from experiences, and continuously improve our companionship services.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years call center or high call volume experience required
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce or Zendesk preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare preferred
  • Availability on nights & weekends preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
